What is “Abusegate”?
Abusegate refers to the systematic distortion of the truth about partner aggression by the domestic violence industry. These half-truths and falsehoods form the basis of a well-financed but harmful effort to curb partner violence. We are calling on political leaders to probe the many distortions and fraudulent practices of Abusegate — hence “Abusegate, Investigate!”
In 2010, we are mounting a high-profile campaign to inform the American public about the truth of domestic violence. At the national level, the campaign is being carried out via op-ed columns, radio interviews, and other means.
Locally, we are inviting persons to get the word out every way imaginable: via blogs, letters to the editor, radio talk shows, messages to email lists, meetings, etc. Here’s a flyer you can pass out: Abusegate flyer
The fate of our families, our civil rights, indeed the fundamental values of our society hang in the balance. As the Violence Against Women Act and the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act come up for reauthorization in 2010 and 2011, we invite you to participate in this critical national effort to make domestic violence services effective and accountable.

How can these abuses of domestic violence laws and violations of constitutional rights be broadccast on CNN, FOx & MSNBC?
I’ve had 5 restraining orders and 2 DCFS investigations(false allegations of child sexual abuse) at my house against me because my child’s mother didn’t want me to be a paren. All allegations were false. She was rewarded with these false allegations because the courts said we couldn’t co parent so she was awarded sole custody and I received visitation of the first and third weekends of each month. I totally tried to cooperate. It is ashame these women can make false allegations and get rewarded. There is no consequences against women for making false allegations in a custody case. Things need to change.
Men who commit suicide over false DV charges and the loss of their children need our help and support. We need to help them get their kids back. Help them get into therapy. But at this time, after years of thinking about it, I would encourage those men to stop committing suicide alone in their garage. I would suggest to them that they picket the White House on hunger strikes. Two or three men dying of starvation on the steps of the white house carrying signs about the pain of the loss of their children will make more difference than dozens of them dying alone.
People didn’t notice men suffering losing their children to angry women. But when lesbian mothers started separating and “moms” were denied access the pity parties started. As long as men are silent about their abuse by others, whether a wife or the government or feminist groups, nothing will change. A few notes on a men’s group web site, big deal. Action, Action and more Action. Few men write letters to their papers or join men’s groups and then when it’s their turn to be raped by the courts they run like injured dogs into the woods to die alone. We can’t help our sons, we can’t protect our sons, until we speak up loudly in ways that count.
I don’t take suicide lightly. Friends of mine lost their fathers. My brother lost a best friend as a young man and when older took his own life. But these protests online to the converted – or suffering in silence must stop. We need action and we needed it 40 years ago.

Soo many people out there mostly males, but a lot of woman and of course the children that are not allowed to be heard, that are effected negetively by VAWA. The average citizen, local police departments, courts ans as you can see, Obama. What is wrong with you Harry Ried!!?…I am a truck driver, I do not care when people out there think it’s funny when I do not write good while trying to proove my points of what’s going on..I will keep speeking and writing out about the false aligations allowed in the court room. there is no respect for eachother and it comes from the top..Washington is not listening to us because it sounds to them that what is going on is a small percentage of people that they want to concentrate only on the bigger problems..All Problems caused by VAWA need to come together; all stories all websites from all across the world..They are still not listening, people in massave amounts are still not speaking out, they think that what happened to them is the “rule of law”, and it is not!!! The disregard for human life has gone too far, respect for who we are needs to be taught, not disrespect for a male, children, woman and law..STOP THIS INSANITYY!!!
