If you were experiencing a life-threatening emergency with your partner, wouldn’t you want to speak to a person who was sufficiently qualified and experienced to help?

Check out the qualifications for a Crisis Line Operator at the Women’s Resource Center in Norman, Oklahoma:

Requires a commitment of at least 3 months. Basic telephone and conversational skills. Ability to remain calm in a crisis situation. Familiarity with the Norman community and resources preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Yep, if you can stay calm and keep up the happy-talk, you should qualify!
