Al Gore Breaks Silence on Sexual Assault Case
Al Gore Breaks Silence as Police Reopen Sexual Assault Case
Former Vice President Al Gore has broken his silence regarding 2006 sexual assault allegations by a massage therapist, as Portland, Ore., police say they are reopening the case.
A statement issued by Kalee Kreider, Gore family spokesperson says:
“Further investigation into this matter will only benefit Mr. Gore. The Gores cannot comment on every defamatory, misleading, and inaccurate story generated by tabloids. Mr. Gore unequivocally and emphatically denied this accusation when he first learned of its existence three years ago. He stands by that denial.”
Molly Hagerty, 54, the massage therapist who is making the allegations, is going to be featured in the National Enquirer, reports Gawker. The Washington Post reported last week that Hagerty wanted $1 million for the story. According to police transcripts, the masseuse – who said she voted for Gore in the 2000 presidential race – said Gore called her to a downtown hotel room where he made unwanted sexual advances and acted like a “crazed sex poodle.” Police said the matter wasn’t investigated further due to “insufficient evidence to support the allegations.” Police did not say why they are reopening the case, reports AP…

While it’s easy for late night comics to mock Tiger Wood and Al Gore as “Crouching Tiger, Crazed Monkey”, now a politician is gored by his ally Joe Biden’s VAWA is feds go after him. There reportedly are already over 720,000 people in the sex offender registry. Some for offences as urinating in public and having had their hand touch woman either intentionally or unintentionally in erogenous zone.
Maryland leading newspaper and a feminist investigative reporter for TV station has “breaking stories” as they run breaking wind after underreported rapes. Police commissioner for the city was contrite because a neighboring county had reported that a city strip club dancer had allegedly been raped and city did not take action.
Also, Al Gore’s accuser reportedly wanted $1 million for the story. FBI went after a blackmailer of David Letterman, but Letterman was not charged with sexual harassment. So it seems that the working stiffs get 30 to 50 year sentence for visiting police monitored web sites while rich just get a pass.
I certainly am not an Al Gore fan but this situation does raise some questions I hope someone is asking.
Why now after over 3 years? Did Molly contact Tipper after she learned of the pending divorce to tell Tipper she can assure that she will get everything in the divorce? Did Tipper suddenly supply the DNA evidence Molly suddenly has because it would appear it would have been there a few years ago too. Would she not have given them that “evidence” when she first reported it….if she had it then?
If they are able to prove this DNA was planted, would two women go to jail for tampering with evidence as men would if they did the same thing? Somehow I highly doubt that.
For those who heard Molly, did she sound shocked to you? Should these things shock even legitimate massage therapist or would they be trained to handle situations such as this be they from men or women?
