Stumble It!
This is a common strategy used by women to gain an advantage in divorce, child custody or plain revenge.
There are millions of victims in the US. From the law enforcement side I have heard complaints of it. I have been a victim myself and never though it would happen to me. Attorney’s and Judge’s absolutely know of it.
But what I don’t understand is why assault needs special laws in a domestic situation. Why does the burden of proof need to be placed on the accused? Why does the proof of standard need to be so low as to convict
innocent people? Why is a false accuser let go with little or no penalty? Why are there laws invented to violate the US Constitution? After having been a victim, I want to know. How can family laws exist where
there are millions, and I do mean millions, innocent people damaged.
George,
Great post. I had the DV “revenge” happen to me 3 days AFTER I was served with divorce papers. Being 30 miles away from her at work when the “DV” took place and then having 3 “jack-boot” officers arrest me at work in front of my 400+ employees was a wonderful experience.
It only cost me about 15k more to get divorce and defend myself in the DV case along with being FORCED to prove my worth as a father after 10 years of being a GREAT ONE! I was very foolish in taking the plea in the end and life has been a struggle ever since.
I do however love the letter “A” for Abuser I get to wear for the rest of my life.
Now ex-wife is married to the affair guy, violates parenting time with impunity, it’s a struggle to pay the $2,600 a month in child support and alimony since I lost my “Director of Sales” position…but who needs a $75,000 base plus commission job these days? I guess DV can really take place from 30 miles away…….
Thank you Joe Biden, Pelosi, Reid, Boxer, Hatch, Republicans that did not read the VAWA, National Organization of Women, Code Pink, ABA, Police Officers, Judges, Victims Advocates, Shelter workers, States that depend on the revenue from MALE arrests, Mental Health Professionals, Biased Media and last but not least…..Fox News for being afraid to speak out about this injustice!
