Isn’t funny that when speak up about being excluded its a call to arms but when men do it its “bashing”? Nancy here is a prime example of the type of people who more than likely doesn’t support the idea of male victims getting help.

Based on you line of logic:

I’m about ready to throw up. Instead of spending some much time bashing men why don’t they just fix that damn wage gap themselves? All they have to do is start their own companies where they can set their own wages right?

And by the way, it is the “National Domestic Violence Hotline” not the “National Women’s Hotline.

Giving a gender neutral title to gender specific service does nothing to alter it’s prejudices.

What Happens When Male DV Victims Ask for Help?

A recent survey by Dr. Denise Hines of 302 abused men found these men routinely faced sex discrimination when they sought help from DV hotlines, shelters, and service providers .

The key findings were: 63.9% of men who called hotlines were told they only help women, and 68.7% said the hotlines were not at all helpful. Of those that contacted a local DV shelter program, 95.3% said the program gave the impression that they were biased against men, 78.3% said they don’t help male victims, and 63.9% suggested the male caller was the batterer.

I am about ready to throw up. Instead of spending so much time bashing women, why don’t these guys and you open some shelters for guys only then. And by the way, it is the “National Domestic Violence Hotline” not the “National Women’s Hotline.” Geez…

Ah, equality in action.

Two thirds of government revenue comes from the pockets of men. They are not only refused help by agencies they fund in the majority they are also subjected to ridicule if they try to seek help. Womens groups have taken legal steps using taxpayer funds to prevent men from setting up alternatives. They have disrupted meetings set up for the same purpose. In my country they stopped providing services out of spite after government instructed them to help everybody. Future welfare workers are being taught that male victims should be disbelieved. By avowed feminists.

Thankyou Nancy for demonstrating the ongoing selfishness and bigotry that denies help to those who need it. I’m not surprised you are ready to “throw up”. Your attitude, whilst typical, is truly nauseating.

As women, we can not claim perfection and ask to be put on a pedestal any longer, and most women no longer desire that, but to make that change, we must also accept responsibility for our own actions or lack of action.
